Jelly Roll Rug
Have you always wanted to make a jelly roll rug?
Join us for a fun two-day class where you will learn the basics, plus tips and tricks. During this class, you will make a jelly roll rug from beginning to end. We will be using the 30" x 44" Jelly Roll Rug pattern by RJ Designs, which is perfect for your kitchen or in front of a door.
You will need the following materials:
The Jelly Roll Rug Pattern (included in the class fee)
One Jelly Roll (40-42 Strips of 2.5" width fabric)
50 yards of 2.25" or 2.5" thin batting strips.
Matching thread with several pre-wound bobbins
Jelly Roll Tube Maker (a big help!)
A denim machine needle
A sewing machine that can do a zig-zag stitch
Optional walking foot for your machine
Clips or pins
Best Press or other ironing spray
Scissors and thread snips
It would be nice to have an extension table for your machine, but it is not necessary.
We have sewing machines for rent if needed.
Yes, our shop does carry all of the supplies and will have them in stock for the class.
